Albuquerque Fiber Arts Council

Other Fiber Arts Organizations

There are many other fiber art guilds and organizations that are not Council participating guilds. As we learn of these organizations, we present them here under Other Guilds.

Below is information about New Mexico Fiber Art Trails.

Fiber Art Trails in New Mexico

The New Mexico Arts division has developed the New Mexico Fiber Art Trails, a map and descriptive brochure which lists 72 rural sites in New Mexico that have been designated fiber arts destinations. The map groups contingent stores, fiber art studios, growers, processors, suppliers, galleries, workshops and creative communities into 'trails' for convenient visiting. Prepared by the New Mexico Arts organization, NMArts, a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs, and a grass roots network of fiber artists, this project will bring visitors and creators together. New Mexico Fiber Arts is proud to introduce the updated New Mexico Fiber Arts Trails Website www.nmfiberarts.org, debuting in July 2011! The updated website is a fiber arts experience unto itself, with sumptous photographs and vivid descriptions of fiber arts destinations throughout the state, updated site listings, and an entire section devoted to resources for fiber artists.
